What Are Lotion Sticks?
Our lotion sticks are solid lotions made without water. The warm lotion is poured into roll-up tubes, like deodorant tubes, and then firms as it cools. This formulation reduces mess and makes them ideal for travel, gardening, or any on-the-go activities. It makes a great addition to gift baskets, care packages, stocking stuffers, or to keep in the bathroom or bedside.
Because this lotion is handmade in small batches with varying colors of beeswax, you may see slight variations from batch to batch. Beeswax is naturally white, but it is colored by pigments found in the pollen the bees collect. Therefore, your lotion bar might look slightly different than the one pictured.
The container is recyclable, environmentally friendly, and BPA-free.
How to use a Butter Coffee Lotion Stick:
Every container has a turning wheel mechanism, similar to what you would see on a deodorant container. Twist and remove the lid, and twist up the bottom to adjust the lotion up or down, as needed. Twisting the lotion up will allow you to remove the clear dome top. Ensure that the lotion surpasses the rim of the container to prevent skin irritation while applying. Gently rub the lotion directly on your skin for a few seconds.
Your body temperature will very slightly melt the lotion, making it easier to apply. Only a small amount is needed. Reapply as needed. Try using it right after the shower when your pores are open to allow the lotion to penetrate deeply and nourish the skin. It’s also great to use before bedtime.
Do not use our lotion stick if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients listed. If you are concerned about sensitivity, test a small amount on your forearm first. The lotion is not intended for internal use. Do not use it on broken skin. Do not use it on your genitals or your face. This information has not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
This lotion formula is designed to soften on contact with your skin, which means it can also melt when exposed to extreme heat. We encourage you to not leave them in places of extreme heat, ie, car, windowsill, beach bag, close to heaters, etc… If melting occurs, don’t worry. You can pop it into the fridge, and it will re-solidify.
